By car: from Florence from Pisa o from Lucca: Motor-way Firenze-Mare (A11) Exit to Pistoia. Follow the turn-off of speedway towards Modena up to the road-sign in Ponte Calcaiola. From here continue to S.Felice, Piteccio and Castagno following the indications.

By train: Firenza Santa Maria Novella-Pistoia line. From Pistoia take Pistoia-Porretta-Bologna line. Get off directly at Castagno station: 35 minutes. Or from Pistoia by Taxi, 20 minutes.

In air: Florence airport, 35 minutes. Pisa airport, 40 minutes. Bologna airport, 70 minutes.
